Busy Days In Britain For Mrs. Roosevelt LESSONS FOR AMERICA British Official Wireless Rec. 1.30 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 26. Mrs. Rooseevlt and Mr. J. G. Winant. American Ambassador, and United States officials, were the guests last night of Mr. and Mrs. Churchill. To-day, with Mrs. Churchill, Mrs. Roosevelt visited an air transport Auxiliary aerodrome in the Home Counties, where she met many American girls now serving as pilots. She was given an enthusiastic reception.
Addressing workers at the invitation of Colonel Llewellin, President' of the Board of Trade, Mrs. Roosevelt said that women had not been used to anything like the same extent in connection with aircraft in the United States as in Britain, but America was going to be very grateful for the experience learned in Britain. Later Mrs. Roosevelt with Mrs. Churchill visited an A.T.S. training establishment. This evening she visited the American Red Cross Club for nurses in London.
