Rec. 11.30 a.m. CINCINNATI, Oct. 8. After an impassioned plea by John L. Lewis the Convention of United Mineworkers of America, with a membership of 500,000, overwhJhV ingly voted to withdraw from the C.1.0. Mr. Lewis threatened to resign if his plea was rejected.
