CARRIERS' PRICES

Representatives of Auckland carriers' associations and other interested parties met the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority, Mr. E. J. Phelan, in the Native Land Court to-day to consider the fixation of charges for carriage of goods in the operation of goods services.

At Mr. Phelan's suggestion, it was decided that representatives of all sections, including the carriers and the Users, should meet on Tuesday next, to discuss the various points in connection with the fixation of charges. Any matters that could not be agreed on could then be referred back to the Licensing Authoritv for settlement.
