BAD BARGAIN
Let a friend see you put a penny in a match box. Request him to place a penny of his in the box also. Show him the two pence, shut the box and say: "Now, would you buy this for a penny halfpenny?" Thinking of the twopence in the box, he will probably say "Certainly!" Then explain to him that he would be making a bad bargain, as he would be buying back his own penny! —From Grace Johnston (Papakura).
