MUSIC-HALL VOGUE
A WEST-END BREAK ' LONDON The Stoll Theatre, Kingsway, is giving up its present , policy of variety. This will mean that for the first time in 80 years London's West End wjll be without a music hall. But musical plays are returning. At the Stoll, "Rose Marie" is to be revived. "Land of Smiles," with Richard Tauber, is on at the Lyric. Sir Henry Wood opened his 48th season of Promenade Concerts at the Albert Hall. Two orchestras, the 8.8.C. Symphony and the London Philharmonic share the work, and associate conductors are Basil Cameron and Sir Adrian Boult.
