MARKET REMAINS ACTIVE
The strong features of the market apparent last week were well retained Auckland Stock Exchange to-day when a fair turnover was recorded at steady or firmer prices. Dominion Breweries were dealt in 1/ higher at £1 7/, and in their first business since March last Bycrofts were 2/6 dearer at £2 6/. Gilt-edged stocks were again extremely scarce. At £91 10/. the old War Loan gained 2/6.
