WAR LIBRARY SERVICE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The National Patriotic Fund Board war library service has distributed to date, for the benefit of the armed forces. 166,592 books and 172,992 periodicals. These figures were shown in a report placed before a meeting of the board, over which the Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, presided. The distribution for the last month comprised 2950 books, 343 smaller books and 3092 periodicals.
