Insurances chanped hands at late rates. South British showing a small pam at £3 0/6. There was a sharp rise in bids for New Zealand Breweries !rom £1 10 9 to £1 12/6, with a seller asking 6d more. Australian industrials were especially strong. B.H.P.'s being sought at £1 16/9 and Coles at £2 9/. Government loans were firm.
