PROVINCIAL RIVALRY
CROSS-COUNTRY CHALLENGE
Advice has been received from the Wellington Amateur Athletic Centre that the challenge of the Auckland Centre has peen accepted for a junior cross-country interprovincial race. The event will be held on October 10 at Wellington. The teams will be six a side, and Mr. A. Moon has been appointed Auckland sole selector. The challenge was issued by the harriers sub-committee of the Auckland Centre, and it is hoped the event will be an annual one. The Auckland team should give a good account of itself, for crosscountry racing has been most popular this year.
