BAUXITE DEPOSITS FOUND

Several big deposits or bauxite have been found in Gippsland (Victoria) recently, some more than 20 feet deep, and samples prove they are superior to any previously discovered in Australia. Dr. H. G. Raggatt. Commonwealth geologist, is expected to inspect the deposits, and while he is in the district he may also inspeet iron ore' and black coal deposits. A coal seam in the distrirt is of good quality, and some years a#o thousands oi cons were mined from it by a local syndicate.
