ARMY EDUCATION
SUGGESTIONS BY TEACHERS
(P.A.)
WELLINGTON, Friday.
The rehabilitation of soldiers and army education were discussed at the annual conference of the New Zealand Technical School Teachers' Association, and it was decided that, as considerable educational and vocational adjustment of men and women would be required, the Government should be strongly urged to include an officer of the Education Department on the Rehabilitation Council and Board.
It was also considered that the government should arrange for the Education Department to advise immediately on the establishment and maintenance of a system of education for men and women on active service at home or abroad which would integrate closely with army training.
