WORK WAS NOT DONE ADVANCE OCOT RETFRNEQ Two : men who--.sought a suburban house, ..obtained-money in advance to buy. materials .to do the work, and then did not do the work or return the money, this morning faced a charge in the Police Court, before Mr. J. Morling, S.M.. of stealing £2. the property of Mrs. Ellen Hilditch, who resides at Kingsland. They wore William Wallace Watson. aged 54 years, an invalidity pensioner, who was represented by Mr. Xcble. and Thomas Marchbank, aged 53. a labourer, for whom Mr. Aekins appeared. Watson was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon, and Marchbank was fined £5. Watson was ordered to make restitution of'the CO
