ON 'CHANGE INACTIVE MARKET GOOD DEMAND RULING Inactive conditions with a firmer undertone ruled on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day. Bank of New Zealands were steady, and wide margins ruled for leading insurances. Buyers for South British remained in at £2 13/6, but sellers moved away to £2 16/. The shares are now ex-dividend. Some Government stock was quitted at firm values. In the Australian section, bids were raised for Colonial Sugars. Coles and Woolwortbs, while better support was accorded Loloma mines.
