NAVY LEAGUE

The Auckland Navy League is holding a garden fair and tennis tournament in the grounds of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. M. Carpenter's home, Remuera Road, on Saturday. The entertainment committee headed by Mrs. R. G. Coats has been busy for some weeks planning novel attractions and stalls for the fair. Miss Marjorie Macfarlane will be in charge of the tennis tournament and Mrs. I. Hor ton is collecting players. The fair will be opened by her Excellency, Lady Newall.
