MR. ALEXANDER DEWAR
The death has occurred of Mr Alexander Dewar at Papakura. He ,x,l ' n 31 near Bailaiat, victoria, in 18G0. After spending some time in Queensland lie came to New Zealand in 1899 and had ret>' i m onsonbv. Manurewa and I apatvtira. His earlier interests w«re largely gold mining. At Papakura he was secretary of the local branch li p 3 , l ' l "®' '- nion and also the Milk Producers Lnion. He leaves four sons. Owen (Svdney) Reg. (U.S.A.), Clive and Victor • Papakura) and a daughter, Mrs M Morrison (Papakura). '
