PASSES FOR SOLDIERS

Returned soldiers mav apply for free railway passes within twelve months of their return, but, according to advice received from Armv Headquarters by the New Zealand Returned Services' Association, the Minister of Defencc has approved of the extension of this period where warranted by circumstances. Once application has been made the pass may be used on 28 consecutive days If it is not used within the 2S days it lapses.
