TO BE RE-BOARDED
CASE OP CHIROPRACTOR
Remanded from last week for sentence on a charge of failing to serve, Lionel Duggan, a chiropractor, appeared before Mr. J. H. Luxford. S.M., at a special Court yesterday afternoon. Duggan was remanded in order that a report should be obtained from a psychiatrist. "I ha»/e received a full report from Dr. Buchanan," said Mr. Luxford. "I do not propose to make the report public beyond the fact that it discloses a condition that would not justify me in imposing a term of imprisonment or sending you to a defaulters' camp. You will be imprisoned until the rising of the Court, which will be in a few minutes. You are still subject to military law until you are lawfully discharged. You will later be reboarded with a view to your being discharged from the army." Upon the magistrate leaving the Bench Duggan was released.
Mr. Sexton appeared for Duggan yesterday, as he also did at the previous hearing.
