GODS AND LITTLE FISHES
j The letter from "Team Worker" i calls for a reply. His comment on the instructions given to E.P.S.O. personnel to put a stop to persons I using lights at night time for | flounder fishing purposes would lead I the uninformed to believe that the i instruction has been given without J due regard to the question of general lighting permissible under the Reduced Lighting Regulations in the area under the jurisdiction of the Auckland Metropolitan E.P.S. Under the reduced lighting scheme certain lights are permissible at night-time, nut if "Team Worker'' will consider for a moment, he will no doubt realise the necessity at the present time of preventing the flashing of lignts along foreshores which extend very much further afield than the Mangere Bridge area and include Jong stretches of coastline fronting the Hauraki Gulf. DEPUTY DISTRICT WARDEN.
