HIGGINBOTHAM WINS
FLATS WITH SUBSTITUTE LEAD
In the final of the Rotorua Bowling Club's annual open pairs tournament on Friday, a. French and K. 8. Hlgginbotham (Henderson) ran out the winners.
French, a member of the Rotorua Club, acted as substitute lead for J. Watson, who was recalled to Auckland this morning.
The runners-up were a. H. Woolley and L. J. (Auckland), who were beaten In the final by 21 to 17.
