Though conditions were showery for the New Brighton Trotting Club's meeting at New Brighton today the track was in good order, and there was a large attendance of the public.

The fifth favourite. Lady Scott, opened the day well for some of the punters when she won the Progressive. with the second favourite Mac's Jimmy in second position.
