When Deolali pulled up lame after running fourth in her race at the Waikato meeting it was feared that the trouble was in a suspensory ligament, and doubts were expressed whether she would ever race again. Her owner, W. H. Hume, received advice at the week-end that the trouble was not as serious as was first believed, and Deolali is expected to return home in a Smw days*
