DECISIVE DEFEAT OF N.Z. FLYERS ON RUGBY HELD
(Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, November 30. The Rosslyn Park Club, which was defeated 29 —11 by the Royal New Zealand Air Force XV. on November 22, decisively beat the Dominion flyers in the return match at Richmond Park on Saturday. Scoring six converted tries, the English team won 30—3. The New Zealanders' poor display was a surprise, considering the reputation of most of their players. The Rosslyn Park forwards got the ball four out of five times from the set scrums. They also tackled well In the loose and dominated the game. Sutherland scored New Zealand's try. The New Zealand team comprised:— Pilot-Officers J. F. G. Kissel (Wellington), E. Grant (Auckland), R. J. Peterson and E. C, Cox (Hawke's Bay), W. L. Knight (Auckland). Sergeants A. G. Sutherland (Southland), W. J. Fulton (Wellington), J. H. Wetere (Taranaki), H. Tomoana (Hawke's Bay), G. Sampson (Wellington), L. P. McCloy (Canterbury), S. D. Well (Tauranga), C. P. Goulding (Canterbury). Leading Aircraftman T. H. Blomfield (Auckland).
