Mr. S. I. Crookes left by air to-day for New Plymouth. Mr. J. G. Coates, a member of the War Cabinet, arrived by air from Wellington yesterday. Mr. H. G. He left for Wellington last night. Mr. R. B. Tennant, director of the Fields Division. Department of Agriculture, Wellington, arrived In Auckland this morning. He will return to-morrow night. Brigadier G. B. Parkinson, recently appointed officer commanding the Army Tank Brigade, and who has returned from the Middle East, will travel south by the Limited express to-night. Lieutenant-Colonel H. S. Nurse, deputy-Inspector general of munitions for the Australian Military Forces, has arrived on a short visit v Zealand. He is staying at the Station Hotel. M- H.
