Salads Fast Growers

POM now onwards salads will be in greatest demand. They have the virtue of quick growth and immunity from most diseases. The essentials are deep digging, a finely broken soil rich in humus, and ample moisture. Radish, lettuce, mustard and cress are best of the salads and all grow quickly.
