HOLIDAY SEASON
HARBOUR BOARD DECISION The Auckland Harbour Board decided yesterday afternoon that ordinary meetings of the board, and the board in committee, between December 17 and February 2 next, should be allowed to lapse, and that the first ordinary meeting of the board in the New Year should be held on February 3.
It was decided to observe the usual Christmas and New Year holidavs for the office staff and for the wharves, and that the penal demurrage charge on goods should be waived from December 24 to January 2 next, inclusive.
