CELEBRITY CONCERT

Leading British baritone, Harold Williams, accompanied by Henri Penn, will entertain Auckland music lovers at a concert in the Town Hall to-morrow evening. The beautiful and moving "Prologue to Pagliacci," by Leoncavallo, and "Credo," from "Otello," by Verdi, are among the items on that part of the programme to be provided by Mr. Williams. A symphony ensemble consisting of the N.B.S. String Orchestra and the IYA Orchestra, under the baton of Mr. Andersen Tyrer, the eminent British conductor, will assist. Proceeds are for the 1942 All Purposes Patriotic Appeal.
