Eulogist, -who is training the reverse way at Riccarton, is mentioned as a probable visitor to Ellerslie for the A.R.C. summer meeting. Eulogist is a candidate for the Auckland Cup, and hasn't been out of a place at his-last four starts. At the New Zealand Cup meeting at Riccarton he ran second to Battledress in the Spring Plate on the first day. , On the Monday he won the seven furlongs Criterion Handicap in the fast time of 1.241-5, and on the fourth day was third to Pay Roll and Duncannon in the Members Handicap. Eulogist is a four-year-old by Myosotis and is raced bv J. H Prosser.
