CAISSON FOR DOCKS
I' One tender only, from Mason ■ Bros., the amount being £19,800, was received at a meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board yesterday afternoon for a steel caisson for the Calliope Dock. The chairman, Mr. Hendry Luke, said that it was one of the most important jobs that they had to do in the harbour at the present time. l It was decided to refer the matter | to a committee, with the engineer to I make a report.
