Johnstone, of * aitetuna, \\ aikato, has been appointed a member of the NewZealand Meat Producers' Board in place of the late Mr. H. E. Worsp. Mr. E. T. Giddens, E M.1.. Mech E formerly of Dunedin. has taken up a position as technical officer in the New Zealand Government Liaison Office. Melbourne. Mr. S. E. Langstone, secretarv, manager of the St. John Ambulance Association, and Mr. A. A. Harker secretary of the Auckland centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, left for Wellington last night.
