CITY-SUBURBAN CRICKET CONTROL
GLOVES FOR N". J. GOLDS WORTHY At last night's meeting of the Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association, the chairman (Mr. J. F. W. Dickson) presented N. J. Goldsworthy with a pair of batting gloves for his performance in scoring the first senior century of the season. The R.V. skipper retired after hitting up 112 against Army Service on November 8. Matches at Christmas against teams representing the Auckland Cricket Association are being sought., and a decision to approach the Auckland Association was made. Messrs. J. Elliott. H. E. Watts and W. Hethertngton were appointed selectors. Fixtures for next Saturday:—Senior A gradeAir Force v. R.V.. Domain No. 1. Messrs. J. Ball, H. Bennett: Manukau v. Dtlworth. Domain No. 2. Messrs.
