Wheat and Flour Controller. Mr. R. MacPherson. attended a meet* ing of the Master Bakers' Association in Auckland and was assured that the bakers have no complaints about the quality of New Zealand flour as at present supplied. The following resolution, which has been endorsed bv meetings of the Thames Valley and Waikato bakers, was placed on record bv the meeting:—"Remarks of the Nelson judges have come as a surprise to this meeting of master bakers, as under the existing war conditions where only New Zealand flour can be made available to the trade, it has been found quite practicable to produce good commercial bread."
