DIVORCE GRANTED

PETITIONER OVERSEAS The petition of Hector Charles Porter (Mr. D. Mason) for divorce from Rebecca Margaret Porter CMr. C. Fawcctt) on the ground of separation was granted by Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court to-day. The petitioner is with the Expeditionary Force in the Middle East, and his evidence was taken on affidavit. Evidence was given by witnesses that petitioner and respondent had signed an agreement to separate on April S. 1938. and that they had not lived together sincc that time. The only child of the marriage was with respondent's mother and was being maintained by petitioner.
