MOSSY CREEKINVESTIGATIONB The annual meeting of the Mossy Creek in® Company was held In Christchurch on Friday, the chairman of directors. Mr. P. C. Heapny, presiding. Reports were received on areas wnicn have been investigated, with a view to moving tne dredge, which has been idle for the last six months. Nothing suitable has yet been found, and the meeting decided to continue investigating areas which are under offer to the company. Rlmu.—Return for clean-up period, November 11 to November 18, was 163.3 crude ounces ti gold from 36,774 yards in 119 hours. _&n«wy Elver.—9o ounces in 118 hours from 24,000 yards. - Maori Gold (West Coast).—4<J 3 ,40« from 8500 yards In 100 hours.
