Mitchell, of 37, Gillies Avenue, Epsom, announce the engagement of their younger daughter, Elsie Lois, to Stephen Henry, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Bailey, of 188, Victoria Avenue, Remuera. * * * * Dawson—Heares. — The engagement is announced between Dorothy Heares, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Heares, of 10, Wairiki Road, Mount Eden, and Trooper R. H. C. Dawson, only son of the late Mr. Dawson and Mrs. Jackson, of 29, Grafton Road, Auckland.
