INQUIRY INTO FIRE
TO COMMENCE ON MONDAY
The commission of inquiry into the cause and other matters concerning the fire on the premises of John Burns and Company, Limited, on August 19, will commence on Monday next. November 24. in the auxiliary courtroom of the Magistrate's Court. This date was fixed at a meeting of the interested parties held this morning by Mr. F. K. Hunt, who will preside at the inquiry. The inquiry is expected to extend over several days and there will be a strong array of counsel to represent the interested parties. DetectiveSergeant J. Walsh will represent the police: Mr. V. R. Meredith the genera! public; Mr. R. M. Reed John Burns and Company. Limited; Mr. A. K. North the Metropolitan Fire Board: Mr. I. J. Goldstine the Queensland Insurance Company; Mr. B. Kingston the Vigilant Fire Alarm Company; Mr. R. Girling Butcher the Internal Affairs Department: Mr. H. M. Rogerson the Auckland Electric Power Board; Mr. J. Stanton the Auckland City Council; Mr. E. Inder the Brown Electrical Company, and Mr. \V. T. Quealy the Theatrical Employees' Union.
