The programme opened with £ lovely string quartet in A Minor, a g lull of smooth and gently flowing meW£ i Particularly beautiful in this J adagio, with its familiar theme. The **"* | was marked by a mo*t p* i.: ins; blend of tone combined with dw? 01 expression. Of an entirely different stvle wU .& j following "Xugae Suite." by "the Sow*; g composer J. B. McEwen. DslightfulN executed, ®** fe were moec enjoyable. .A well-played performance of stag 1 piano quintet brought an eiceptioWW fe fine concert to a close. This was 1 with warmth of expression and thcr® y jl eome entrancing moments.
