OAMARU SEAT CANDIDATES
NATIONAL AND IXDEPENDENT (0.C.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The National party candidate for the Oamaru seat at the general elecj tion will be Mr. Frank Milner. |C.M.G.. rector of the Waitaki Boys' i High School. His was the orilv nomination. One other candidate for the seat has so far been announced, Mr. M j F. E. Cooney (Independent), who was I the National party's candidate at the last general election. Mr. Cooney is an old boy of Waitaki High School. The sitting member is the Minister of Health, the Hon. A. H. Nordmeyer, who is expected to receive the Labour nomination.
