The boxing championships of the 9th Heavy Regiment. New Zealand Artillery, were held last night. Finalists will meet a team from Papakura Camp to-night and the subsequent winners will be matched with weight winners from North Auckland. These finals will be staged at the Town Hall on August 4. preceding the two professional bouts. Following were last night's '*s: —Bantam-weight: Timmins, Bst 61b, chamno opponent. Final: Billing beat Brown by a knock-out In the second round. Light-heavy-weight: Wilkinson, 12st 71b, beat Luckie. 12st 51b, by a technical knock-out in the third round. Final: Freeman, 12st 51b. beat Wilkinson, 12st 71b, on points. Heavyweight: McConnell. 15st, beat Anderson, 13st. on points.
