LOOK TO FUTURE
CHURCH'S OPPOUTUXITIES
Fast the Church should look to ' ihe future instead of being content with the achievements of the past was stressed by the Bishop of Auckland, the Rt. Rev. \V. J. Simkin, when preaching at the evensong service in St. Paul's Church last night in continuation of the centenary celebrations. There would be a tremendous opportunity for St Paul'l, he said, should the University of New Zealand ever found a faculty of theology, in the possibility of the establishment of a theological lectureship or school in connection with it. The service was conducted by the Vicar, Canon C. A. B. Watson, and the Benediction was said by the Primate, Archbishop West-Watson. The opening prayers were given by Dean W. Fancourt and the lessons we're read by Mr. L. Williamson and the Rev. R. B. Davidson.
