WOMAN'S SKULL FRACTURED

CITY STREET ACCIDENT

A fractured skull and concussion was suffered by Mrs. Howell, of Titirangi, when she was struck by a length of steel being carried on a motor lorry while crossing Beach Road nearly opposite the railway station about 9 a.m. to-day. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance and her condition is very serious.
