I An outstanding performance of women's goll i In Auckland was thai of Mrs. S. S. Wilson at j Middlemore yesterday. It Is not oiten that 80 j is broken on the course, but Mrs. Wilson, playing i in a flag competition, had a medal score Oi ! 75. the best card returned by a player on the present course. Her handicap of 11 gave her a . net 64, and she took the flag to the 20th green. Mrs. Wilson was out In 40 and home in 35. She equalled the scratch figures for eight of the holes on the second half and had a birdie 4 at the 16th.
