Conyers-Brown and officers of the platoon. The range is on a 2000-acre block about hve miles from Dargaville on the Dargaville-West Coast main highway and is c aimed to be the finest range of its kind in New Zealand The sniper platoon has asked the Government to acquire the block and has been promised that the Public works Department will construct of road to connect with the main highway. A promise has also been made of about £?00 with which to erect a pavilion All the work has been entirely voluntary.
