BIRKOLOGY AMISS
Birkology, one of the early favourites for the Grand National Steeplechase, to be run on Tuesday, August 12, was pulled up after going a mile in the West Coast Steeples, at Awapuni, on Saturday, and he was very lame when he returned to the birdcage. It now appears to be certain that Bitkology's Ricc-arton trip -will have to be abandoned.
