TRIBUTES* TO DOMINION
LONDON, July 17
The New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr. P. Fraser, accompanied by Mr. W. J. Jordan, New Zealand High Commissioner, and Mr. George Hall, Under-Secretary for the Dominions, toured the Rhondda Valley and was Warmly greeted by cheering crowds. The chairman of the Pentre Council expressed thanks for gifts of clothes New Zealand. Mr. Fraser replied that the devoted work of New Zealand women was a labour of love tor the people of Britain. Mr. Fraser addressed a cheering crowd at Merthyr Town Hall and was .welcomed by the Mayor! ana councillors.
