WATER RATE— s—ln respect of thc ordinary supplv upon all land and building to which water Is supplied a rate of one one hundred and forty-fourth part or a penny <1-144 th) in the pound, with a minimum charge of ten shillings <10.) per annum (allowing a consumption of 15,000 gallons per annum). G-Non-consumers- Rate: Upon all land nnd building to which water can be but is not supplied situated within one hundred yards from any port of the waterworks, a rate of one two hundred and eighty-eighth pArt of a penny n-288th) in the pound, being one halt of the above-mentioned rate, with a minimum charge of five shillings (5 ) per annum. The water charges for extraordinary supplv and meter rent, are fixed by thc By-laws of the said Council. 7—A Uniform Sanitation Fee of twenty shillings (20 ) per pan per house for sanitation purposes for the year 1941-2 on all properties in the Borough outside the drainage area and served by thc night soil service. B—A Uniform Sanitation (Refuse) Fee of five shillings (s') per pan per house for sanitation purposes for the year 1941-2 on all properties in the Borough served by the refuse service. All such rates to be levied pursuant to Section , ° r The Valuation of Land Amendment Act. 1933. upon seventy-five per centum of the unimproved values of all properties appearing in the Valuation Roll for thc time being in force in the Borough of Otahuhu with the exception of properties, the valuation of which have been reduced by the Valuer-General pursuant to Section 3 or 4 of the raid Act. in which cases the said rates shall be levied pursuant to subsection 3 of Section 5 of Thc Valuation of Land Amendment Act. 1933. either on thc amount of such new valuation or on seventy-five per centum of the original valuations as defined in sucn sub-section, whichever is the less.
