ASSOCIATED MOTORISTS
The accounts of Associated Motorists Petrol Company, Limited, for tl* year ended March 31 show % net profit of £20.017. A surplus of £63.530 was shown last year, tneludlng stocks reserve after provision for income tax. The directors propose a dividend of 10 per cent on both preference and ordinary shares, less security taxes. This will absorb £18.445. leaving £1572 to be added to the floating balance, which will be increased to £10.179. Sales for the past year yielde.l £1.063,551. compared with the record total of £1.185,825 in 1940. Taxes and duty absorbed £580,802.
