NEW PROPOSALS
Attempt To Secure India's Full Co-operation SETTLING DIFFERENCES Rec. 11 a.m. LONDON. July 16. The Government is expected to attempt to secure India's fullest cooperation in the war effort with new proposals for settling the differences between the various sections of Indian opinion.
The ' Daily Herald'* political correspondent saj's that it is expected that a more broadly based executive council will be offered to India. It would have comprehensive powers and contain many features of national government. It is believed that such proposals should create an immediate improvement in the situation in India.
