COUNCIL'S TRIBUTE

A tribute to the late Mr. J. Hamilton, of Takapuna, a former borough councillor, was paid at the special meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council last night. The Mayor, Mr. J. Guiniven, referred to the long and capable service given to the council by Mr. Hamilton and asked members to stand in silence as a mark of respect. The council decided to send a letter of condolence to the family.
