MR. HEAD'S CANDIDATURE

In supporting the erection of a harbour bridge in an address at Brown's Bay last evening, Mr. H. T. Head, Pan-New Zealand Political Union candidate, said that £3,000.000 was found by the Labour Government to build the Homer Tunnel, which would not serve as many people as would the bridge. He also advocated the granting of long term loans to farmers and increased pensions and allowances to civilians and soldiers. A vote of confidence in the candidate was carried.
