The place ot the chemist, in wartime was defined by Lord McGouan. chairman of Imperial Chemical Industries. Ltd.. in his recent address to shareholders. He specially referred to the manufacture of war material and the close collaboration of the Government, with the chemical industry. Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand, as the subsidiaries In Canada and South Africa, continued to prosper and expand, and thctr relations with their respective Government-!, grew closer and closer.
